2006 year review at Imagebob

It has been said "it is better to aim at something and miss than to aim at nothing at all and hit" Here is my attempt - with both feet planted firmly in midair - to create a review of this year at imagebob.com. My aim has been to promote my photography.

The learning curve continues with the purchase of a new computor and all the software upgrades. These pages were my first efforts created in Dreamweaver.

Two people in my life that I am very grateful for, my wife who works to support my effort and my brother, Paul, at Adworks -who keeps me busy with ongoing projects.

GH CDI've not yet advertised in the phone book - "Let your fingers do the walking." But I've joined Cambridge Chamber of Commerce and have taken advantage of some of the networking and business seminars they offer.

Some of my advertising is done through my greeting cards. Visit my contact page for card pages.

I enjoyed shooting my neighbors garden and she purchased a few photos. I was privileged to do a photoshoot in 2005 for Roots & Shoots.

Last January I took photos at the 'Downtown Preston Cartoon Characters' street party. Check out the posted images.

I was able to work with my sister -in-law creating & posting pages for Latitude-one day storytelling event. I love the unusual image I created below but it was never used...

In my neighborhood, I shot a home during a snowfall. They purchased the picture and then allowed me to shoot their back yard during the summer.

I enjoyed creating the Cover photo for the Annual June Golf Classic 2006 -a fund raising tournament for the Cambridge Memorial Hospital.

I was asked to shoot the 32 teams that participated.

I submitted photos into the Cambridge Art Annual Juried Show.

Attended the Cambridge Arts Festival to promote my photos but instead enjoyed beating on the bongos. Thanks Craig and Bree!

Last January I became a member of i-stock photography. It is amazing that my portfolio can been seen all over the world now. It is an amazing site teaching me how to improve and inspire my photography. Finally at year end, i-stock photo asked its members to create an invitation for their party. Here is my submission.

My cousin Eric Richard is an artist in New Brunswick. His work is a must see - but this link gives you a glimpse of his stuff.

My friend Mark ask for me to shoot at Holiday party for Cara's Hope.

I enjoy shooting plants because you don't need a model release form. I've joined the Preston Horticulture Society this year. If you have a home, garden or would love to strike a pose, just let me know. Thanks for taking time to read. Blessing. All the best this New Year!
